Academie voor Beeldende Kunsten Aalst DKO

In the warehouses of the former passementerie * textile factory, now Netwerk Aalst, the students of the Traject-studio exhibit their works under the guidance of Maria Degrève.
They temporarily occupy the warehouses with multidisciplinary works: photography, paintings, drawings, textile works, collages, objects, graphics and installations.
The original function of the building, making decorated borders and flosses, gave rise to experiments with weaving techniques, working with remnants of clothing, attention to swirling miniature fabrics, collages with mixed techniques and paper fabrics with various intermediate layers.

Participants are An Arnout, Anne Dierickx, Ann De Wilde, Annelies De Pelsemaeker, Greta Demey, Els De Clercq, Eric Vandevelde, Lily Lambrecht, Marc Quintelier, Marie Jeanne De Witte, Sandra Seghers, and Werner Van Lierde.

Free entrance
Guided tour by the students every weekend.
