DIY Stop Motion animations

Mobile installations by Studio REKKER

During Club Ritual, Studio REKKER will also be present with 2 installations inviting young and old to experiment with the basic techniques of animation film. Both installations are free to use. There are Play Stop Motion stations in Local Dendy and Stop Motion Boxes in Rekker’s studio on the 2nd floor of the NW warehouses.

PLAY STOP MOTION is a mobile installation by REKKER that will be downstairs in our open space Lokaal Dendy. Have fun with colliding balls, flying birds, spinning rockets and crazy faces, and discover the wonderful world of stop motion animation as you go. This interactive installation is suitable for all ages and you don’t need any experience to get started. You can share the videos you make via your socials so you can amaze family and friends with your filming talent.

THE STOP MOTION BOX is a mobile film set that lets you make your own animated films in a technically sophisticated way. Illustrator Melvin designed the wacky figures and sets you get with the Stop Motion Box, so you can get straight to work turning your imagination into film. Everything is on hand at Studio Rekker, on the 2nd floor of the NW Warehouses. A healthy dose of inspiration is all you need.
